According to BlockBeats, on April 27, Ahmad Shadid, founder and CEO of io.net, posted on social media that his team had prevented a retaliatory attack by a banned airdrop hunter, who attacked the io.net community by gaining unauthorized access to the private name and GPU model of a user's device (this is called the device metadata API).
