According to BlockBeats news, on March 8, the decentralized social network protocol CyberConnect announced the launch of the modular Ethereum L2 network Cyber, the first Layer 2 designed for social interaction and redesigned for mass adoption. Cyber is powered by EigenLayer and Optimism, in partnership with AltLayer. Cyber serves as the social layer for Web3 applications, providing an entry point for the next wave of crypto users to access Web3 experiences, tools, and financial liquidity in various Layer 2 ecosystems. The Cyber Sepolia testnet, protected by AltLayer, will go live next week. CYBER staking is now live and participants can earn CYBER Season 2 airdrops. At the end of the 3-month campaign period, up to 1 million CYBER tokens can be awarded to stakers.
