The new Lisk network will be powered by OP Stack and built using Gelato's aggregation-as-a-service platform. Focus on solving local problems in emerging markets by bringing solutions for RWA, Off-Chain Assets (OCA), and Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) onto the chain. The transition also involves migrating the LSK token to Ethereum. LSK’s existing reward sharing mechanism will continue, and the token will also be used for on-chain governance in the upcoming Lisk DAO. Lisk is also planning to airdrop LSK tokens for the first time to incentivize activity on the new chain, with more details expected to be provided ahead of its mainnet launch.
