Stellar Development Foundation Strategically Invests in MoneyGram International

According to Foresight News, the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) announced a strategic investment in MoneyGram International (MGI). This investment is made by the SDF Cash Pool (assets set aside to support SDF operations) rather than the Enterprise Fund (a fund that invests in start-ups and early-stage companies). The investment will enable MGI to expand its digital business, explore areas such as blockchain technology, and explore many other ways that it can help consumers and businesses move and manage money around the world.
Foresight News previously reported that MoneyGram set up a new board of directors, with Stellar Development Foundation CEO Denelle Dixon as one of the directors.
