Bitski, an NFT platform invested by a16z, launches "Bitski Vault Wallet"

AICoin News NFT platform Bitski today launched a new wallet with iOS and browser extensions, providing each user with a "Bitski Vault Wallet and the ability to import their existing wallet". Bitski CEO and co-founder Donnie Dinch said the Vault is designed to lower the barrier to entry for non-crypto users to use crypto wallets. “Bitski Vault Wallet is hosted in our Hardware Security Module. The keys never leave the hardware and all transactions are signed in the hardware. This allows users to seamlessly access Web3 without needing to be an expert in key management,” Dinch explained . It is reported that Bitski provides Ethereum users with the option to log in through email and password settings, similar to services such as Wax Cloud wallet on the Wax blockchain and Dapper wallet on the Flow blockchain. Additionally, the wallet has self-hosting support and has a transaction simulator, which will help users avoid being the target of phishing scams. Some other features include trade feeds, price change alerts, on-chain and off-chain activity, and a dapp explorer. According to news in May 2021, Bitski completed a $19 million Series A round of financing, with Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and American rappers Jay-Z, Serena Williams, and Ari Emanuel participating. Bitski, which calls itself the "Shopify of the NFT industry," aims to provide brands, game developers, and consumers with a simple platform to create, buy, and sell digital goods. (The Block)
