BlockBeats news, on January 12, according to The Block, the decentralized protocol Alkimiya completed $7.2 million in financing, led by 1kx and Castle Island Ventures, and participated by Dragonfly, Circle Ventures and Coinbase Ventures. Alkimiya aims to provide a hedging solution for block space producers such as miners and staking validators, and was originally launched on Avalanche last March. The round will primarily be used to expand its team as it prepares to launch a full product suite in the first quarter of this year, including a Vault product and an ETH staking contract on the Ethereum mainnet.
