Crypto miner Hive acquires Turis AB to expand its Swedish data center operations

According to BlockBeats news, on November 27, cryptocurrency mining company Hive Digital Technologies announced that it had signed a property transfer agreement with Turis AB to acquire a data center and its real estate in Boden, Sweden. Hive said the new facility is "immediately adjacent" to its existing data center in Sweden and it plans to develop the facility further across its portfolio. The company said the property will also house a new generation of ASIC servers and increase Bitcoin (BTC) production. Under the property transfer agreement, HIVE will pay up to $750,000 in cash and up to $1.5 million in two installments in the form of common shares in the company's capital.
