OpenSea responds to employee incident: Kevin Pawlak has resigned and has no knowledge of the projects he participated in

BlockBeats news, on October 9, according to Cointelegraph, in response to NFT Ethics’ previous statement that “KOL Sisyphus’s true identity is suspected to be OpenSea’s venture capital director Kevin Pawlak,” an OpenSea spokesperson said: “Kevin Pawlak is a former employee of OpenSea. He left the company in June 2016. His employment at OpenSea was limited in scope and he held non-managerial positions. We are not aware of his involvement in related projects. Furthermore, we have no connection to, or information about, the related projects as they were created before he joined OpenSea previously conducted it." In addition, blockchain detective ZachXBT also questioned NFT Ethics' statement, saying that much of the content of the post seemed to be based on "irrelevant events without facts." BlockBeats previously reported that on October 8, NFT Ethics posted on social platforms to reveal Sisyphus’ true identity, which was traced to Kevin Pawlak, head of OpenSea Venture Capital. Sisyphus has been involved in a variety of very questionable business dealings (such as Anubis) and price gouging. Sisyphus also attempted to influence OpenSea's decisions using a private account, having communicated with Alameda Research and telling them to buy Anubis (ANKH). NFT Ethics investigates Sisyphus&Co’s premeditated rug pull in the Anubis incident and subsequent money laundering through PEPE. It is understood that on October 29, 2021, the meme+OHM imitation disk Anubis withdrew liquidity one day after it was launched, resulting in asset losses of 13,256 ETH.
